Painting Morning Light
After leaving my campsite at dawn, I came upon a small band of three horses just after the sun light came over the hill. The light caught the mane, tail and the edges of the horses coat. Communicating the beauty of the morning light and the relationship between the mare and new foal was the goal of this piece.
